Interface Project Join Definitions and Usage
We are working to fully document all signals used in the HADA Smart Home OS package, listed here are the important join numbers used to create Device Control Screens within the Interface Project. A complete signal and module list is available in the Programmers Guide to allow for advanced core modifications if needed.
With so many customer devices available, creating control screens for every situation just isn't realistic, and updating entire systems just so your customer can add a new device is usually outside of the budget. HADA Smart Home OS solves this with a built in templating system that allows the Programmer/Integrator to create whatever screen they need to meet the specific needs of the device being added. These interface join numbers are automatically routed to the Room Endpoint for the currently selected Room/Zone and are intended to make the creation additional Device Control Screens fast and simple. This allows for the addition of new devices into a tested and completed system at any time with just a pannel project update and a driver module. This means that adding that latest and greatest new comsumer device to existing customer systems a breaze. Combine this with the seperated Driver Package (for device control module) and you get a fully scalable solution that can be expanded at any time for cost effective add on sales and service calls.
Notes:
1. All signals for digital are considered to be a momentary press while analog and serial signals are raw data.
2. All signals use the same ID number for there individual feedback to the display interface
